Where Endless learners, mentors, facilitators, and devs gather to share, support, and create.
Where to find us and who's there.
Our community lives on Discord as well as in the Endless platform.
You can join our Discord here: discord.com/invite/joinendless
Our community is learners from programs all over the world, professional mentors, program facilitators, Threadbare devs, and other Endless team members.
How to get involved once you're in.
Join via the Discord link and say hi in the introductions channel.
Yes, absolutely! You can share links to your projects both on the platform and/or on Discord asking for help, whether that be specific questions about coding, art, etc. or simply looking for feedback or playtesting.
Giving and getting feedback on your work.
Peer feedback is just what it sounds like! Sharing your project, level, or game in order to hear from others (inside your program or beyond) about what they like about it and where you could improve.
Good feedback is specific, kind, and actionable. Point to what's working ("the way the puzzle escalates feels really satisfying"), name what's confusing or feels off ("I got stuck at the door and wasn't sure why"), and suggest what could make it stronger. Lead with curiosity rather than critique, and remember the goal is to help the creator make their work better, not to prove what you'd do differently.
Recurring gatherings where the community comes together.
Loom Lounge is our weekly live stream, a casual conversation about game making. It's for everyone: learners who are curious, educators who want inspiration, mentors who want to stay connected, and game makers of all stripes.
Thursdays at 11:30am ET, live on the Endless Access YouTube channel.
Yes! You can catch up on previous episodes anytime on the Loom Lounge playlist on YouTube.
Keeping our spaces welcoming and constructive.
Our community runs on a shared Code of Conduct that keeps our spaces welcoming, respectful, and constructive for everyone.
Email community+conduct@endlessos.org with details of the incident. Our team will review and take appropriate action based on our enforcement guidelines.
You can read the full Code of Conduct for details on what we expect from community members.
For other kinds of reports (a user, a game, a bug), see the Troubleshooting page.
Welcome to Threadbare, an open-source game where imagination, storytelling, and game development come together.
We built the foundation of the game world, and learners build upon it by creating quests, stories, and creative twists, making Threadbare both a game and a shared learning experience.
